About Us
WealthView started in 2024 out of a simple frustration: most finance content online is either too technical to be useful or too vague to act on. This site is an attempt to fix that, one article at a time.
Who’s Behind This
WealthView is run by a single person, not a team, not a company. The person behind it has spent years navigating personal finance, taxation, and investing, first as someone figuring things out the hard way, then as someone who started writing about it to help others skip a few of those mistakes.
We keep things anonymous here, not because there’s anything to hide, but because the focus should stay on the content and whether it actually helps you, not on a personal brand.
We are not a registered financial advisory. Nobody on this site holds a SEBI license or a CFA. What you get instead is research, personal experience, and a genuine attempt to explain things clearly.
What You’ll Find Here
The site covers a lot of ground:
- Personal finance basics like budgeting and saving
- Taxation and GST, explained without the jargon
- Wealth management and investment ideas for the long term
- Financial news when it actually matters to your decisions
- Honest reviews of financial products, apps, and tools
- Calculators you can actually use
- Step-by-step guides for things people usually Google at midnight
Some of this is original work based on our own research and experience. Other pieces pull together information from credible sources elsewhere, mainly because reading five different articles to understand one topic is nobody’s idea of a good time.
Why It’s Written This Way
Finance content has a reputation for being either boring or condescending. We try to avoid both. If something is complicated, we say so, and then we break it down anyway.
One Important Thing
Nothing on WealthView is personalized financial advice. It’s information, context, and opinion, meant to help you think through decisions, not replace the judgment of a licensed professional. Check the Disclaimer page for the full picture.
A Word on Affiliate Links
You’ll come across affiliate links here and there (Amazon, financial platforms, that sort of thing). If you click one and buy something or sign up, we might earn a small commission. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and it helps keep the site running. We only link to things we’d actually recommend to a friend.
